We are really pleased that you have taken the time and effort to find us.
Ingleby Mill Primary School has 607 pupils which includes 52 part time nursery children. We pride ourselves on our ethos: children, staff and Governors belong to a large school family where the contribution of every individual is valued.
We make no apologies for wanting the best for and from our pupils – our expectations are high and we are proud of that. Our children know that we expect them:
- to be the best they can be;
- to work hard to achieve well;
- to follow the rules in school and be responsible members of the school community;
- to show courtesy, consideration and compassion towards others.
We take our role in educating our children extremely seriously. Part of this role includes helping them to understand how to keep themselves safe (you can find further details about this in our curriculum information and on our parent pages about e-safety and keeping your child safe online). The school has always put its responsibilities to safeguard children at the heart of its work. The Designated Safeguarding Leads in school are Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Coverdale and Mrs Meynell. They can be contacted on 01642 761985. For further information, please see our Child Protection Policy and Safeguarding Statement on the policies page of this website.
We have received a number of national awards including the Primary Geography Quality Mark, Healthy Schools Award, Green Flag Award, Silver Sainsbury’s School Games Mark Award and the National Schools Music Festival Rock School Award.
